Tac-Force Drag Mat

The Tac-Force drag mat is a gun case that conveniently unfolds into a shooting mat.   Survivors and military personnel also note that it is easily improvised for use as a sleeping pad.   Shooting mats improvised from foam sleeping pads have been in use by innovative troops for longer than most of us have been shooting.    Anyone who has spent time laying on rough ground and trying to make accurate shots at long range will tell you about the value of a padded shooting mat.   

This clever piece of gear thus serves a dual purpose.   It protects a long gun (up to 48") for transport and then opens up flat.   The case has a strong luggage type carry handle at the center, a shoulder strap with metal hardware at the ends, and a drag handle at the front.   Other features include a small equipment pocket and shell holder at the back which are exposed when the case is opened.   

There is MOLLE compatible webbing on one of the outside panels that allows for attachment of additional pouches.   The bag has the appearance of having this MOLLE compatible webbing over the entire bottom/outside, but this is primarily for structural reinforcement during hard use and two of the panels have the webbing "sewn shut" to prevent the attachment of too many pouches.  

One should also note this webbing makes it easy to attach burlap strips and other camouflage material to the bag.   Colors available are Black, OD Green and desert tan.   Note the desert tan material used in these bags is an actual pinkish desert tan, and not the Coyote tan used in the other Tac-Force drag bags.
